PELUDAH WARNA – A SAMAD SAID

Peludah Warna
Kuasa gusar kini menggelegak murka;
warna kuning diisytihar racun terbisa.
Diragutnya baju-T segeram tenaga
dan diumum itulah busana bahaya.
Tapi, kita jahit semula perca kain,
menjadikannya panji terindah dan tulen.
Warna kuning yang teramat tenang dan syahdu
kita kembalikan damai ke dalam qalbu.
Kini cahaya mentari mungkin diramas
dan sinar kuningnya juga mungkin dicantas.
Memanglah mereka kini peludah warna
sedang menghimpun lendir kahak sebanyaknya.
Kerana nikmat amat lama berkuasa,
kuasa pun seolah menjadi hartanya.

TAHNIAH PASUKAN BOLA MALAYSIA

Salamun’alaikum…

Dah lama penulis tak mencoretkan artikel dalam blog ni. Zalim pula rasanya.huhu…

WHAT IS JIHAD? ITS TRUE MEANING AND PURPOSE

Jihad: Its True Meaning and Purpose

Jihad is never a tool of waging war against the innocents; it’s never a means of flexing muscles or bullying the weak and oppressed. Jihad in Islam is something unique, established to defend the divine message from being eliminated or hindered by its enemies.
Shedding more light on the true concept of Jihad, here is the statement made by Dr. Muzammil H. Siddiqi, president of the Fiqh Council of North America, states:

Allah says, (And strive in His cause as ye ought to strive (with sincerity and under discipline). He has chosen you, and has imposed no difficulties on you in religion; it is the religion of your father Abraham. It is He (Allah) Who has named you Muslims, both before and in this (Revelation); that the Messenger may be a witness for you, and you be witnesses for mankind! So establish regular Prayer, give regular Charity, and hold fast to Allah! He is your Protector, the best to protect and the Best to help!) (Al-Hajj 22: 78)

Jihad is one of the most misunderstood, and abused aspects of Islam. There are some Muslims who exploit and misuse this concept for their own political objectives. There are many non-Muslims who misunderstand it. There are some non-Muslims who misinterpret it to discredit Islam and Muslims.

What is Jihad?

The word Jihad does not mean “Holy War”.
It means “struggle” or “striving.
The word for war in the Qur’an is “Harb” or “Qital.

Jihad means serious and sincere struggle on the personal as well as on the social level.

It is a struggle to do good and to remove injustice, oppression and evil from the society. This struggle should be spiritual as well as social, economic and political.

Jihad is to work hard to do right things. In the Qur’an this word is used in its different forms 33 times. It often comes with other Qur’anic concepts such as faith, repentance, righteous deeds and migration.

Jihad is to protect one’s faith and one’s human rights.

Jihad is not a war always although it can take the form of war.

Islam is the religion of peace, but it does not mean that Islam accepts oppression. Islam teaches that one should do one’s utmost to eliminate tension and conflict. Islam promotes non-violent means to bring change and reform.

Actually, Islam urges that one should eliminate evil through peaceful means without the use of force as much as possible. In Islamic history from the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) until now, Muslims most of the time resisted oppression and struggled for liberation in non-violent and peaceful manners.

Islam teaches proper ethics in the situation of war also. The war is permissible in Islam, but only when other peaceful means such as dialogue, negotiations and treaties fail. It is a last resort and should be avoided as much as possible. Its purpose is not to convert people by force, or to colonize people or to acquire land or wealth or for self-glory.

Its purpose is basically : defense of life, property, land, honor and freedom for oneself as well as defense of others from injustice and oppression.

The basic rules of war in Islam are:

1. Be strong so that your enemy fear you and should not attack you.
2. Do not begin the hostilities. Work for peace as much as possible.
3. Fight only those who fight, no collective punishment; non-combatants should not be harmed. Weapons of mass destruction should not be used.
4. Stop hostilities as soon as the other party is inclined to peace.
5. Observe the treaties and agreements as long as the enemy observes them.

Allah says very clearly: (Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you, but do not do aggression, for Allah loves not the aggressors.) (Al-Baqarah 2: 190)

(The prohibited month, for the prohibited month, and so for all things prohibited, there is the law of equality. If then any one transgresses the prohibition against you, transgress ye likewise against him. But fear Allah, and know that Allah is with those who restrain themselves.) (Al-Baqarah 2: 194)

Jihad is not terrorism:

It is to be emphasized that terrorism against the innocent civilians, whether through aggression or suicidal means, is under no circumstances permissible in Islam. Islam encourages the oppressed people to struggle for their liberation and it commands other Muslims to help those who are oppressed and suffering, but Islam does not allow, under any circumstance, terrorism against non-combatants and innocent people.

Terrorism is not Jihad, it is Fasad (mischief).

It is against the teachings of Islam. There are some people who use their twisted arguments to justify terrorism for their causes, but it has no justification:
Allah says: (When it is said to them: ‘Make not mischief on the earth,’ they say: ‘Why, we only want to correct things.’ Indeed they are the mischief doers, but they realize (it) not.) (Al-Baqarah 2: 11-12)

Islam wants to establish a world order where all human beings – Muslims and non-Muslims – can live with justice in peace, harmony and good will. It gives its followers full guidelines to find peace in their personal and social lives, but it also tells them how to extend the good will on the basis of human relations towards others. Muslims worked under these principles for centuries. People of many faiths lived with them and among them. Islamic societies were known for their tolerance, generosity and humanity.

In our modern society where we are living in a global village, where non-Muslims are living with Muslims in the Muslim countries and Muslims are living with non-Muslims in countries where non-Muslims constitute a majority, it is our duty to bring better understanding among ourselves, work for peace and justice for all people and cooperate with each other in matters of goodness and virtue in order to stop all terrorism, aggression and violence against the innocent people. This is our Jihad today.

Today, many people have misconception about the term “Jihad” in context of Islam. Dr. Zakir Naik is explaining it with good manner.

THE WORLD IS YOUR MIRROR

The World Is Your Mirror
The good you find in others, is in you too.
The faults you find in others, are your faults as well.
After all, to recognize something you must know it.
The possibilities you see in others,
are possible for you as well.
The beauty you see around you, is your beauty.
The world around you is a reflection, a mirror
showing you the person you are.
To change your world, you must change yourself.
See the best in others, and you will be your best.
Give to others, and you will give to yourself.
Appreciate beauty, and you will be beautiful.
Admire creativity, and you will be creative.
Love, and you will be loved.
Seek to understand, and you will be understood.
Listen, and your voice will be heard.
Teach, and you will learn.

KESIBUKAN YANG SEMENTARA

Salamun’alaikum…

Nampak sungguh kelemahan diri penulis. Tidak iltizam di dalam penulisan.

Kesibukan harian dijadikan alasan kukuh.

“Man, kenapa sibuk sangat ni? Bawalah berehat,” bicara seorang teman.

“Sebolehnya memang aku ingin sangat berehat. Tetapi ketika sedang berehat, aku terfikir bahawa masih banyak lagi kerja yang aku boleh lakukan jika menggunakan masa seoptimum mungkin. Aku tidak dinilai dengan berapa banyak sumbangan telah aku berikan, tapi aku dinilai dengan seberapa banyak usaha aku untuk memberi sumbangan pada insan lain.” Jawab Man dengan tenang.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY – SAY NO

“We should cultivate the ability to say no to activities for which we have no time, no talent, and which we have no interest or real concern. If we learn to say no to many things, then we will be able to say yes to the things that matter most. ” – Roy Blauss

ARTICLE OF THE DAY – ALUMINUM POISONING

As the metal aluminum is present in our food, water supply, and soil, most people suffer from some degree of aluminum toxicity. After years of accumulated exposure and storage of it in body tissues, this poison can have results ranging from brain degeneration to skeletal deformities.

Dangers of Aluminum Toxicity

  • It is particularly poisonous to the nervous system with a range of symptoms that can include disturbed sleep, nervousness, emotional instability, memory loss, headaches, and impaired intellect.
  • It can stop the body’s ability to digest and make use of calcium, phosphorus and fluoride. This prevents bone growth and reduces bone density. Aluminum can also cause conditions which actually force calcium out of the bones. Either of these situations can bring on weakness and deformation in the bone structure with crippling effects.
  • Toxicity can also result in aching muscles, speech problems, anemia, digestive problems, lowered liver function, colic and impaired kidney function.

Sources of Aluminum

  • Over the counter medications can be one of the largest sources of aluminum:
    • Frequent users of buffered aspirin, such as people with arthritis, could possibly take up to 700 mg of this metal each day. But since aluminum contributes to bone damage, the aspirin actually enhances arthritis.
    • Digestive aides such as diarrhea and hemorrhoid medicines can also contain aluminum. A typical dose of aluminum-containing antacids can contain as much as 200 mg. and an entire day’s use can supply 800-5000 mg. of aluminum.
  • Aluminum is also often added to hygiene aids such as antiperspirants and douches.
  • Food that has been cooked or stored in aluminum pots and aluminum foil is another source. Estimates say that as much as 4 milligrams of aluminum can be transferred to each serving of an acidic food such as tomatoes or citrus fruits that has been heated or stored with aluminum.
  • Stainless steel cookware can be a source as well as it is made by bonding the stainless steel with layers of aluminum. My testing and experience shows that after stainless steel cookware has been used for a short period of time, aluminum traces begin to enter the food.
  • There are six aluminum salts that have been approved as food additives in the United States. The salts most commonly used are sodium aluminum phosphates. They are added to cake mixes, frozen dough, pancake mixes, self-rising flours, processed cheese and cheese foods and beer (in aluminum cans). Just one slice of individually wrapped processed cheese can contain up to 50 mg of aluminum. It is thought that the cheeseburger may contain one of the highest aluminum contents of any food. Baked goods have approximately 5-15 mg per serving.
  • An average sized pickle contains 5 to 10 mg if it has been treated in an alum solution which is commonly done. Alum is a form of aluminum sulfate that is used in the pickling solution to firm up the cucumbers.

Nutritional Support

While the first step in ridding your body of this poison is to avoid aluminum intake as much as possible. The next is to provide your body with nutritional support to give it the strength it needs to detoxify this metal. There are several supplements that can assist in this process. They are Core Level C, Core Level Health Reserve and Core Level Liver.

Detoxification Symptoms

When aluminum comes out of its stored locations in your body it can act as an irritant. For example it has a tendency to irritate nerve endings which can irritate muscles. Therefore, when someone is detoxifying aluminum, there can be discomfort involved. And, since the kidneys are the organs that handle this detoxification, there may be pain in the back, over the kidneys, also.

Because aluminum tends to concentrate itself in the brain, the detoxification process can be accompanied by mental confusion.

It can also cause flu-like symptoms with fever, chills and mucous discharge. The detoxification will run its course and the symptoms will go away. Because any nasal discharge will be toxic, spit it out instead of swallowing it.

Reducing Aluminum Exposure

  • In your home, you should replace aluminum or metal cookware with one of several options: Enamel coated steel cookware is a safe option. For frying, old-fashioned cast iron works best, but please avoid the non stick surfaces. Corning ware and Visions cookware are also safe but again please use without the non stick surfaces as they are toxic.
  • Do not cook with aluminum foil, and minimize its use for food storage. Never use it to wrap acidic foods (oranges, lemons, tomatoes, etc.) or cooked food that is still hot.
  • Use bamboo steamers instead of metal vegetable steamers.
  • As nearly all cooked restaurant food has aluminum in it, here are a couple options regarding that.- Reduce your cooked choices of food while dining in a restaurant as raw food has no contact with their cooking utensils. Order salads and cole slaw and juice!- If you do eat cooked restaurant food, take 3-6 Core Level C’s with the meal. This will help your body move out some of the aluminum before it stores in your body.
  • Check the labels of all food, medicinal and hygienic products you buy, avoiding those that have aluminum content.
  • Minimize your intake of cheese, particularly processed cheeses.
  • Minimize your intake of any baked goods that are not homemade without aluminum additives.

Over to You

While your body can tolerate low levels of aluminum, you must be sure that the level stays low and does not build up. This requires care and continued monitoring. There are tests such as hair/urine/blood analysis that can be done to help you monitor the aluminum levels in your system. Let us know if you need any assistance in getting these done.
